HOURS OF OPERATION The course is currently opening at 8:00 am and the Clubhouse is closing at 7:00 pm. Players are not allowed on the course before the designated hours. Course hours are subject to change due to weather conditions. Contact the pro shop for delay information. TEE TIMES Yale students and Yale employees can make tee times 4 days in advance. Tee times are made by calling the Pro Shop at 392-2376 or 392-2377. On weekends and holidays, tee times are available after 11:00 am, the tee is reserved for members and their guests prior to 11:00. For detailed information - please visit the 2011 Brochure Yale Affiliates Students, staff, faculty and alumni may, upon presentation of a valid Yale ID, play the course by paying daily green fees. The fee entitles players to one eighteen hole round of golf. Nine hole fees are not offered. Guests of Yale Affiliates Yale students, faculty, staff and alumni who are not members can introduce guests. Appropriate guest fees are applicable. Member Guest Policy A Yale member may introduce up to 3 guests Monday through Friday at any time. On the weekends, Yale members can introduce 1 guest before 11:00 a.m. and up to 3 after 11:00 a.m. A guest playing before 11:00 a.m. on weekends or holidays is limited to once every 30 days unless participating in YGC or special events. Requests for special consideration should be addressed to the Director of Golf prior to the date of play. DIRECTIONS Map from MapQuest From Downtown New Haven: Take Chapel St. out, right onto Forest Rd., at first traffic light turn left onto Edgeway Way. Take next four consecutive lefts to Conrad Drive. From I-95 North: Take Exit 44 to Route 10 North. Follow Rt 10 North (Boulevard) and then take Rt.34 West. Go to * below. From I-95 South: Take Exit 47 to Route 34 West. Go to * below. * On Rt. 34 West you will pass by the Yale Tennis Ctr., Baseball Field and Bowl. Take a right turn at Route 122 North (Forest Rd.). At 1st traffic light turn left onto Edgewood Way. Take next four consecutive lefts to Conrad Drive. From Merritt Parkway: Take Exit 59 onto Whalley Ave. towards New Haven and turn right onto Route 122 South (Dayton St., at Hess gas station). Turn right at light onto Fountain St. Turn left at light onto Vista Ter. Take first right onto Marvelwood. At stop sign take left onto Conrad Drive. COURSE RULES Daily Golf Registration Policy Every member, guest, and daily fee player must register in the Pro Shop before proceeding to the first tee. Golfers may not begin their play off the tenth tee unless authorized by the starter or the Pro Shop. Dress Code for Golf Course and Driving Range • Golf shirts and golf pants or mid-length shorts are required at all times for men. • Golf tops and mid-length shorts or skirts are required for women. • Golf shoes or sneakers only. • Blue jeans, T-shirts, tank tops, gym shorts or short shorts are prohibited. Golf Course Etiquette • Be ready to play at your assigned time. • Keep the pace with the proceeding group. • Groups are required to finish play in 4.5 hours. • Players are expected to replace divots, fix ball marks, use the soil boxes on the par 3's and rake bunkers. • Marshals will monitor play and instruct slow groups to keep pace. • Coolers are prohibited. Soda and beer may be purchased in Widdy's or at the ninth tee. • The use of communication devices on the golf course is prohibited except for medical emergencies. Practice Range • Tokens and magnetic keys are purchased in the Pro Shop. • Players should practice from designated areas. • Baskets should not leave the range.
